Stamp a stack of Christmas cards
I know I have to start sending out Christmas cards by November.
They are simple, crisp and clean cards which can be mass produced easily.
This also means that we are going to use just a few supplies to make them.
Mojo Monday #105
I have been looking forward to the new mojo monday sketch and here it is.
Its an interesting sketch. The DT cards gave me some courage to do the sketch.
I liked the layered large scalloped circles. Very pretty. But that was tricky bit for me.
Initially, I stamped Circle Circus and punched out circles and made a card.
Here is my first attempt.
DSP: Sweet Slumber Speciality paper
Stamp Sets: Circle Circus and Game cards
Accessories: Pacific point ribbon
Ink pads: Riding hood red and Basic Black
But I was not very happy with it.
My latest parcel from Stampin’ Up! arrived yesterday.
I wanted to break open and use my new stuff.
And christmas cards are in need in the near future.
So I made a christmas card.
This time I punched out circles out of CS and DSP. Nothing fancy and it works
Here it is and I like this one
CS: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Read Red and Kiwi Kiss
DSP: Bella Rose
Stamp Set: Occassional Greetings
Ink pads: Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Circle punch, Clear embossing powder, heat gun, versamark Satin ribbon, 5/8′ grosgrain red ribbon
Thanks for an awesome sketch.
Great to participate in a lovely sketch challenge.
I love sketches. lol!!!
Now I have a long wait until Monday for a brand new sketch.

Makeesha Byl’s Sketch challenge #13
Another saturday morning. Hectic as usual.
But before I go, I thought I will blog my take on Makeesha Byl’s Sketch challenge #13.
This is her sketch for this week.
I had one look at it and then I knew I have to use the Sense of time stamp set from the new Spring Mini Stampin Up! catalogue and my square punches.
Here is my take on the sketch.
I used the emboss resist technique for this card.
Stamp set: Sense of time from the new Spring mini catalogue
and En francis background stamp
Inks: Not quite navy and Chocolate chip
Accessories: Versamark, clear embossing powder, sponge,
edge distressor, heat gun and blue bling brad.
All products from Stampin’ Up!
Thanks for a wonderful sketch once again, Makeesha.
One day I hope to do the color challenge as well!

Last evening, I had to urgently buy a gift and make a card for a young resident doctor who is leaving Kalgoorlie as she completed her posting. Oh! my husband always forgets to tell me early. I am used to it now. So, he tells me at 3.330pm for a 6.30pm dinner at another friend’s house!
So a quick trip to the shop and bought the gift. Now it needs to be wrapped and card has to be made. I have plenty of birthday and thank you cards but not best wishes ones.
So I wipped up one in 15 minutes.I was pretty satisfied with how it turned up.

Stamp sets: Baroque motifs and Oval all frm Stampin’ Up!
Inks: Tempting Turquoise and Kiwi Kiss from Stampin’ Up!
Accessories: Tempting turquoise brads, scalloped oval punch, scalloped border punch, oval punch, heat and stick powder, dazzling diamonds, heat gun and Baja Breeze ribbon all from stampin’ Up!
I then wrapped the gift using Bella Blue DSP, crimped the edges and used the Very Vanilla 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon which is one of the free ribbon available when you order more than 100$ of Stampin’ Up! products or host a workshop for more than 600$ in sales in September.
I love the Combination of White,Blue and Green, especially Pacific Point blue and Kiwi Kiss green. Awesome color combo. I wanted a skirt and top in that color combo and I found one too. Shopping next!!!

Mojo Monday Sketch #104

Workshop projects
How was your weekend? Hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. Mine was a real hectic weekend. Saturday was Aditi’s birthday party. So I was busy running around organising, cooking and hosting the party. It was fun but tiring. Sunday was the cleaning day and of course a day to talk to parents living overseas. Sundays are keep in touch days for us.
Come Monday and its a little bit relaxing.Kids are at school and husband at work. So here I am sitting down to blog.Feels like its been days since I blogged.
Last Friday evening I had a Stampin’ Up! workshop and it was awesome.
Great time making a these projects.
This is a beautiful card using Baroque motifs. I have also used heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds on the swirls. I love this card. So far my favourate.
This is a gift card holder. The technique here is using pastels on versamark.
This is a masculine card. I love this stamp set. Just perfect for a male card
Lastly these popsicle cards are very cute children’s cards.I have shown two colors but we made 4 colors. There is pink and orange too. Love the tart and tangy stamp set. This was the most popular set. Everybody liked making it.
If you want to come for my workshops and make cards and you are living in Kalgoorlie then, please contact me here. I have a workshop on 3rd october friday evening. Contact me and make a booking.
