Turquoise with Kraft and White

This week’s CAS challenge at Splitcoast stampers is a color challenge- Turquoise with Kraft and White. It is a soft and delicate color combination.  Also Heather Nicholes has demonstrated a technique on her blog using craft ink and impression plates. Here is the link– Click here. I so wanted to try that technique and use CAS color combiantion to make a card. This is what I came up with!

Father’s day is around the corner. So I ended up making a father’s day card for my son to give my husband!
I like how it turned out. Did you see the alphebet impression the Hawaiian Shores cardstock? Thats the technique Heather showed on her blog. I also tried the technique on black cardstock. It gives a chalk board effect. Absolutely fabulous. I will use the black cardstock and make another father’s day card. Will share it with you tomorrow!

Here are the supplies:

Cardstock PTI’s Kraft, Hawaiian Shores and Stamper’s Select White cardstocks
Stamp  Sets:    Father Knows Best, Its Official,
Inkpads SU’s White Craft Ink and Basic Black
Accessories Book Print Impression Plate from PTI, Brayer, Cuttle Bug andMartha Stewart’s border punch.

Thanks for stopping by! Until next time…
Cheers!
