Inspired by Pinterest

Hello everybody,

Welcome to this week’s Inspired By Pinterest challenge.
ย Here is this week’s challenge picture.

Love Blossoms Wedding Invitations by guess what? at minted.com

And here is my take on the challenge.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampers Select Whiteย  and Canyon Clay from Papertrey Ink.
Stamp Sets: Decorative Doilies and Extra Time from Uniko Studio
Accessories: Rhinestones from Kaisercraft.

I guess this is one of the easiest inspiration. You can use any doilie stamp to get this layout. You can also make vintage card using traditional doilie stamp and traditional colours. A modern stamp using say a modern doilie stamp and colours. You can change colours or also make a set using the same layout but in different colours. So here you go, a very easy & cool inspiration for this week. Hope you like it ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for visiting ๐Ÿ™‚

He looks all chubby like he used to be when he was a toddler lol!ย  So glad to have both my men back home. Great relief. Kids are back to school today and hubby at work. It is freezing cold here. Heater is on and love my hot tea. Great day to curl up on the couch and watch TV ๐Ÿ™‚ Maybe I will do just that in the afternoon ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for listening to my chatter. Have a great day!
See you soon

As I am posting this, my son Sid is in surgery in Perth. Although it is a minor surgery, things can happen. Praying all goes well. He has been a very good boy. Never once has he complained of pain in his eyes or said the chalazion has blocked his vision even though it has. He has got his dad with him who know about his medical condition as a doctor. Sitting 600 kms away, it is hard for me as a mother not to be with him. Waiting for the phone call. Anytime now.

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

Blog Hop, PTI

May PTI Blog Hop

A quick share of a card I made for Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

Here is this month’s inspirational picture

And here is my take on the picture. I made a swing interactive card. I learned to make this card from Julie Ebersole’s class on Interactive cards.

In this pictures below, you can see how the circle swings when you open the card.

This is the inside of the card when fully opened.

ย

Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampers Select White and Simply Chartreuse from PTI. Basic Black from SU
Stamp sets: Argyle background stamp, Inside Out Happy Birthday, Day Dreamer from PTI. Cherished from The Craft’s Meow
Inks: Archival Jet Black ink and Sage Amuse Ink
Accessories: Rhinestones from Kaisercraft, Border punch from Martha Stewart, Circle dies from Craft Concepts, Gingham digital pattern paper.

Hope you like it ๐Ÿ™‚ I believe there is a die to make this type of swing card by Sizzix available at Simon Says Stamp Store if you like to purchase the die. But you can make it without the die as well like I did ๐Ÿ™‚ It is all about partial diecutting.

Thanks for visiting and happy hopping!
