A birthday Card!

Hey there!

A quick post sharing a Birthday card I made for PC call but did not have time to submit:(

How much I wish I had more than 24 hours per day? There are so mnay things to do but such less time! Anyway! Gold is trendy at the moment.  Especially with mint and coral colours. I see them in jewellery, fashion, shoes, cushions………….. everywhere really!  I had some gold embossing powder in my stash for a very very long time. It finally came to good use:) Here is my card.

I have gold embossed the flower cluster and sentiment on coral cardstock panel. I also gold embossed flower petals and the banner bit of the senitment on a mint cardstock. Cut them out and layered them on to the coral panel.. I then mounted this panel on to a white cardbase. Love the movement the falling flowers brings and draws the eyes to the sentiment. Hope you like it!

This is the card I made using the stamp set.

A CAS card with some colour and glitter. I stamped and coloured the lilly label. Then punched it out and poped it! For the glitter, I used scor tape and fine pink glitter powder.

Absolutely adorable stamps and dies. I love it. I die cut and coloured them.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #90

Hey my dear craft friends and blog visitors,

Aha! today is Friday and I cannot wait for Saturday. I can sleep in a bit in the morning. Since school started, I have been sleeping by midnight and waking up at 5:00AM!! I have dark circles under my eyes right now Cry! Heavy eyelids and plenty of chores to do….

OK! Let me stop talking about myself and share with you this week’s CAS-ual Fridays theme! You will like it:)

Yes! Black and White plus one colour of your choice……
Here is my card!

Coral colour is trendy right now. So I chose it as my colour. I inked my acrylic pad with the coral ink and stamped directly on my card stock  I then used the images from the new released Beanstalks stamp set and stamped them using Archival jet Black Ink. I love this ink because it is the true black image you get and perfect coverage as well. I deliberately stamped a few outside the colour block and did the same with the sentiment to create balance.
 Hope you like it!

CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #15

Hey everybody,

How are you? I had a good 3 day break from blogging. Not that I didn’t craft but I didn’t blog. But today I have a new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch challenge by Lisa Arana!
Here is the sketch for you.

Perfect CAS sketch! I really love this sketch. I have taken a literal approach and made my card.

I have used Uniko Studio’s Wonderful Washi and stamped in different neon colours and cut them out to various sizes. Then I layered them and glued them down to the card panel. I hand drew the stitching with black fine tip pen. Then finally stamped the sentiment from Fontiment stamp set from Uniko Studio on a strip of card stock. Trimmed the ends to make banner and foam mounted it.

Love the neon colours. They are very vibrant and beautiful together. Hope you like it.

Uniko Studio New Release Day #2

Hey everybody,

Welcome to Day #2 of Uniko Studio’s New Release. Did you know it is also Uniko Studio’s first birthday this month? Wishing Uniko Studio a very happy first birthday and many more birthdays to come:)

Here is a card, I made using Bright Butterflies Stamp set.

I love butterflies. Flowers and butterflies together are even better.  And so says the sentiment on the card above. Love the one layer card with movement. Hope you do too.

I am in love the rounded rectanglar labels in this set. I repeatedly stamped the pattern using three different colours and stamped the sentiment on one of them.

Love the gorgeous brush stroke image in this set. I love using colours on the brush strokes. That is what I have done with my card. And the sentiments are awesome especially the mix of fonts and sizes of font. You are going to love it.

Uniko Studio Full Reveal

Hello Eveybody,

Welcome to Uniko Studio’s Feburary release. For past two days, you should have seen some sneak peeks at Uniko Studio Blog. There are some gorgeous new digital pattern papers and the two new stamp sets released today. 

You should have come from the gorgeous and talented Erika. If you are on the right track.

 I am late with my post today as I only just received my stamps:( Boo to the postal services. Wish they had delivered the package on Friday. I could have played with the gorgeous stamps and showed you more gorgeous projects. Today I have one project to share with you. But I will definitely share more tomorrow:)

I have combined these two to make my card here.

I love the patterns on these two pattern paper. One with solid bright colours and the other with outline. The labels beautifully coordinate with these pattern papers. Look at the intensity of the colours! I picked the colours from the pattern paper for my label and balloons. Hope you like it.

Cloud9 February Blog Hop!

Today is 9th of the month and it is time for Cloud9 Blog Hop!

You would have already seen this month’s inspiration from the Cloud 9 Blog. If not, here it is for you.

I was inspired by the pink, red & kraft colours and the pockets. 

Here is my take on the picture.

I have used these stamp sets from Wplus9 to make my card.

I really love the grunge from the So 80’s set which provided the beautiful backdrop and sets off the intensity  red colour of the sweets. I have used kraft pocket and raised it suing foam adhesives Added a few more of the sweets on the bottom and stamped the sentiment at an angle. I also added an arrow which is trendy at the moment.
