Winnie & Walter’s April/May 2015 release – Day #3
Today is day #3 of Winnie & Walter’s April/May new release preview.
Here is Day #1 and Day #2 previewed projects.
My projects today showcases my favourite stamp set in this release In Bloom Addie’s Garden. On my card below, I did the whimsical watercolouring.
This is my second project using In Bloom: Addie’s Garden.
On this card, I stamped and white heat embossed the flowers and leaves from Addie’s Garden on watercolour paper. Then watercoloured the images in the traditional way within the lines. Once dry I adhered the panel to the card front. Then diecut a black frame using rectangle dies. I popped the frame on the card front with sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Friend stamp set heat embossed. No card of mine is finished without Pretty Pink Posh sequins. Again I have used Sparkly Clear sequins.

Hope you are enjoying projects using the new release stamp sets from Winnie & Walter.
If you like to win today’s stamp set and dies, then head over to Winnie & Walter Blog for more details.
See you tomorrow with the final day product preview.

On my card I have done layered stamping to create my own background on my card front. I simply love the colours and contrast using black with colours.
See you tomorrow with day #3 preview of Winnie & Walter.
Winnie & Walter’s April/May 2015 release – Day#1
Welcome to Day #1 sneak peek of Winnie & Walter’s April/May new release.
I have two cards to share today. One using each of the stamp sets. My dies have not arrived yet. So my cards do not showcase any dies unfortunately. I promise to share more projects using the dies when they arrive.
Here is my first card using The Big, the Bold and Friends sentiment as the focal point.

I have black heat embossed the sentiment on white cardstock panel. Then I have framed the sentiment using a new stamp set which will be previewed tomorrow called Lola’s Bouquet by Joni Andaya. The beautiful sentiment required some beautiful flowers and foliage to frame and draw the eyes to it. I chose to use two different greys, two mint hues and black combination to stamp the flowers and foliage.
I then trimmed the panel, added couple of black strips of cardstock before adhering the panel to grey cardstock. Addition of black cardstock to the panel brings the black from the sentiment and the black Onyx sequins from Pretty Pink Posh together. I just LOVE the colour combination.
Again, I did exactly the same procedure as the previous card except I have made it vintage style. Sentiment is the focal point which is framed with flowers from another new stamp set which will be previewed day after tomorrow called Abby’s Garden. I have coloured the flowers using distress markers, sponged distress ink on the edges then distressed the edges of the panel using scissors before adhering on the cream card base which is sponged with distress inks on the edges as well.
See you tomorrow for day #2 preview of Winnie & Walter new release.
Exciting news to share!

Curtain Call Challenge Reminder and a farewell!

Sparkle & Shine!
After more than a week, I finally was able to spend some time in my craft room. Obviously lacking in creativity, I wanted to try a challenge to bring back my mojo. That is when I saw the new Pin – Sights Challenge at Ellen Hutson. I decided to play the challenge because I found it challenging with my lack of creativity.
It is a mood board challenge.
Love the colour combination. But I did not have any bronze paper or embellishments. After searching through my stash, I found bronze Zing sparkly embossing powder. Hooray! I can use it to emboss or make my own embellishements. I decided to emboss the sentiments on vellum cardstock using the Bronze Sparkly embossing powder.
Here is my finished card.
