Card Patterns #126

Hello all, I am back again…… So happy to feel better and back on track. Thanks so much all your get well wishes. I must say they did help me to think positive and focus towards getting better because I was starting to get stressed out and depressed. Now I am so positive for me and my kids as well ๐Ÿ™‚

I am also thrilled and honoured that my card here was featured on the out and about lineup at Moxie Fab World.ย  My motivation is quiet high at the moment.lol!

I made a card set today. And for one of the cards, I used Card Patterns sketch #126. Here is the sketch for you.

Here is the card.

I have used papers from Bo Bunny’s Gabrielle collection, including the 3D chipboard element. The card stock is from Papertrey Ink. The lace from a shop at Etsy. The paper rose is from Kaisercraft.ย
I love the Gabrielle collection papers from Bo Bunny. The color combination, the botanical designs, lots and lots of damask and text on the paper. Just gorgeous! Of course, love the gorgeous sparkly butterflies. I could not get enough of them and therefore I made a card set. Here are the other two cards.

With these two cards, I have used Papertrey Ink’s dies to create the focal point for the sentiment.
Hope you like this set ‘cas I love them ๐Ÿ™‚
Have a great week!
Luv!

Best Wishes!

Good evening everybody,ย
Its been a busy day for me. I have been driving around the whole day for one appointment after another, one class after another. I am exhausted and I thought to my self while driving back home, what if there is dinner ready on the table!ย  And…… there it was! My DHย  was so thoughtful that he bought dinner tonight.ย  So sweet of him. Beautifulย  fresh butter naans and channa masala. Yum! Anyway I relaxed and made a card after dinner.
ย I have used Card Pattern’s sketch 117 and Jay Gee’s Nook challenge. Here is the sketch and the color inspirational picture from Jay Gee’s Nook.
If you want to participate in the challenge click on the pictures above and it will take your to their respective blogs.ย
Here is another picture of my card and a closeup. I have used Pink Paislee’s Butterfly Collection pattern papers. Its such a gorgeous collection. Love it. Cardstocks, envelope, tag and the stamps are from Papertrey Ink.

The script ribbon and lace are from an Etsy shop. The wrinkled ribbon is handmade. The flower is from Prima Marketing and brad from Stampin’ Up! The envelope can be opened and money can be placed inside.ย  Hope you like my card.
ย Tonight is very cold night and raining tomorrow. But I will tucked inside a nice warm electric blanket. In heaven I will be ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a good night.

Card Patterns #114

Ah hha! finally after about two days of not knowing what happened to my blogspot, I am able to do this post. I have a spinning problem with new post page. It would not load fully and the spinning icon appeared to be spinning indefinitely. It was frustrating not knowing what the problem was until I discovered many many blogspot users in Australia and Asia are having the same problem. And while that the problem is getting sorted out, we were told to use the old editor instead of the new one.

Anyway, I have a card share today. I made it for Card Patterns Sketch #114.
Here is the sketch for you

And here is my take on the sketch.

I have used Kaisercraft Chanteuse collection papers, rubons, lace and diecuts, Papertrey Ink cardstock, Stipped ribbon from Stampin’ Up!, flowers from Prima Marketing. No stamping on this card. Love the pretty flower rubons on the card from Kaisercraft Chantesuse collection. Also like how the card turned out because I have restarted making cards after a long gap.

Hoping IT geeks will fix the bug on blogger and the new editor will start working soon. So please forgive my small photo until then.ย
The enginners have fixed blogger and the new editor is working now. So I have replaced the photo of my card to a larger one ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

Luv!

Hi everybody, It feels long since I have blogged. Looking back, I did blog last Thursday! Thats not long ago but I feel so because I was away for the weekend and then took a day to recover from the long driving trip. We took parents to see a small coastal town called Esperance. Its about 400 Kms away from my town and I had to drive 800kms to and fro. It was a very eventful trip I will talk about it later. It is interesting I can assure you that ๐Ÿ™‚
Anyway, I have a card today I made for Card Patterns Sketch #108. Here is the sketch for you.

Here is my take on the sketch! I turned the sketch around for my card.

I have used Prima Marketing pattern paper and stickers, MFT dies, SU cardstock, Kaisercraft rhinestones and pattern paper and Papertrey Ink stamps for sentiment.
I am loving trying out vintage and pastel colors on my cards. Also the layers make the card pretty. Hope you like it too. Have a great week ๐Ÿ™‚ and thanks for stopping by!
