No stamp card!

Hey everybody,

Since I completed with CAS-ual Fridays as a design team member, I did not have a chance to play along any of the challenges with them. Today, I decided to play along with their latest challenge #95- no stamp on the card. Now that is a huge challenge for me. Seriously!

When I was clearing out my pattern paper pad, I came upon Kaisercraft’s Fine and Sunny paper pad. Kaisercraft’s paper pads have not just one sided papers, but also textured papers and also some gorgeous labels and border cutouts towards the end of the paper pad. I love the textured papers. This particular collection has some adorable texture images which I cut out and layered to make my card below.

I have added one of the papers from Fine and Sunny paper pad on the background. And on a smaller panel, I have layered and glued the gorgeous glossy cut outs. Nope No Nada stamps on this card. Love it. Hope you like it too:)

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge and a Farewell!

Hey everybody,

Welcome to CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. This is the last challenge for me as their Design Team member. I have through enjoyed all the challenges with CAS-ual Fridays challenge and stamp blogs. But it is time to say goodbye. I would like to thank the most sweetest boss, Michele for giving me the opportunity to work with her. Love the variety of themes she brings every Friday and her super cool CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  I will miss CAS-ual Fridays Challenges. But I guess I can play along now:) A big virtual hug to you, Michele:)

Make a CAS project with silver in it.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I have used Breathe stamp set for my card.

Love love that brush strokes. I have made my own background using the brush strokes stamp set and different colored inks. I have also silver embossed the brush strokes as well.  The sentiment is also silver embossed. Hope you like it. I love love the background.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #90

Hey my dear craft friends and blog visitors,

Aha! today is Friday and I cannot wait for Saturday. I can sleep in a bit in the morning. Since school started, I have been sleeping by midnight and waking up at 5:00AM!! I have dark circles under my eyes right now Cry! Heavy eyelids and plenty of chores to do….

OK! Let me stop talking about myself and share with you this week’s CAS-ual Fridays theme! You will like it:)

Yes! Black and White plus one colour of your choice……
Here is my card!

Coral colour is trendy right now. So I chose it as my colour. I inked my acrylic pad with the coral ink and stamped directly on my card stock  I then used the images from the new released Beanstalks stamp set and stamped them using Archival jet Black Ink. I love this ink because it is the true black image you get and perfect coverage as well. I deliberately stamped a few outside the colour block and did the same with the sentiment to create balance.
 Hope you like it!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge

Hey everybody,

Welcome to CAS-ual Fridays challenge.
Here is this week’s theme

I chose to do Jennifer’s DIY technique on my card. She used blank ink pad and re-inkers to get a rainbow effect. But she also taught how to use baby wipes and make your own rainbow ink pads.So here is my baby wipes ink pad inked with re-inkers from Stampin’ Up!

And here is my card using my DIY inkpad:)

I stamped the border stamp from Big Thanks Stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays on my DIY ink pad and also sprayed with mini mister before I stamped on the card stock. Love love the watercolour smudged look.Sentiment is from Loving Thoughts stamp set also from CAS-ual Fridays. I have masked and stamped only the bit of the sentiment I wanted. Hope you like it.

I have used Wplus9’s Cupid’s Arrow and Damask Delight stamp set for my card. Pink is generally not my colour of choice. I don’t know why? But I generally do grab pink coloured anything:( I like this card. Soft pink and red with black is gorgeous. Don’t you think so? I love the subway art senitment from Cupid’s Arrow. I have stamped the banner and fussy it it out and layered it.

CAS-ual Fridays-Mark your marks

Hello Friday!
How quick days fly by! I felt like I just wrote my CAS-ual Fridays Challenge and it has already been a week! Shocking! But that means new challenge for you from us. That is exciting right?
Here is the new challenge.

Use markers on your CAS project this week:) Get innovative and think outside the box if you are up to an adventure:) Love to see what you do with markers
Here is my card for the challenge.

I have used distress makers on my acrylic block and sprayed Mister Huey’s Calico Shine mist on it and stamped directly on a white scrap card stock. Love how the colour spreads and give that shimmer. Much awesome in real. I then stamped the flower from Truth is and sentiment from Calm and Gentle Stamp sets from CAS-ual Fridays using Archival Jet Black ink. I framed this panel using Polaroid die cut from PTI. When I framed it, the sentiment was blocked by the frame. So I die cut the sentiment and glued it on top of the frame. The top part of the flower is inside the Polaroid frame and the sentiment strip is on top of the frame. Yet they look like one piece. Hope you like it.

CAS-ual Fridays- Long Short Challenge

My dear craft friends,

Are you ready for a new challenge from CAS-ual Fridays?

Make a CAS card which is long on one side and short on the other side but not the usual size card:) It can be 3 x 6, 4 x 8….. Your choice:)

I have used the new release stamp set called RAD on my card. I really love those arrows and so I played with them. Since it is a one layer card, I went for a bright colour combination. I have also chosen to use the long short pattern on the card front using stamped images:) Hope you like it.

I have white embossed the sentiment and then sponged inked using mask. Did you see the flowers on the background? Thats something new to be release next week. New stamp sets coming soon. Excited!

Dashing thru the holidays….

Hello Everybody,

Welcome to a two week challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. I know it is early for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. But today we are teaming up with Pauline’s 10 minute craft dash challenge.:)

And the theme for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is

Make a holiday card in 10 minutes:) By now you must be in the middle or completed making your Christmas cards, right? So this must be easy peasy!
 Here is mine:)

I have used Snowflake Greetings from CAS-ual Fridays to make my card. I first stamped the sentiment. Then stamped the snowflake in blue and again stamped second generation overlaping the first image. Then stamped the third image in another colour-coral! Similarly smaller snowflakes. Added rhinestones to the snowflakes. And thats it. I really like how simple and easy it is to make. All you have to do is select impressive colour combinations:) This took me like less than 5 minutes. I am thrilled with it. I took my photo outside because it was nice and sunny. And my light tent is not yet set up. It came out too bright I think:( Sorry abut that!
