Freshly Made sketches

Fresh and Fab

Hey everybody, I played along two challenge today. The first is the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketch Challenge Blog and the second is Tuesday Trigger from Moxie Fab World.

Here is a close up of the peacock. The stamp is from Wplus9 and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the peacock image using Versamark and SU’s Basic Gray ink.  Then embossed the peacock image with clear embossing powder. Colored the feather blue and sponged SU’s Bashful Blue around them. Finally adding  rhinestones. Isn’t the peacock gorgeous. Love the Magical Moments stamp set from Wplus9.
If you like to play along the challenges then click on the pictures and they will take you to their blogs 🙂 Here is the Freshly Made sketch #15 and the Tuesday Trigger photo for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend:)

Freshly Made sketches

Freshly Squeezed

Wondering why I titled this post “Freshly Squeezed”? lol! Thats because I squeezed this sketch below to fit inside my card centre 🙂 This sketch is from Freshly Made sketches blog, sketch #14.

Here is my take on the sketch. I don’t make square cards basically because I cannot find square envelopes in my small town. So, I squeezed the sketch to fit into a normal sized card.

I simple punched 2 bigger and smaller squares of each color, rounded the edges and layered them. Then the center piece is made using PTI’s Tags It stamp set, punched and layered with foam.
I enjoyed making this one and came together very quick. I love the result and hope you do too. If you like to play the sketch, then here is the link to the challenge blog.
Have a great weekend! I have one more batch of shortbread cookies to make. Then packing and writing cards will finish all the gifts to teachers.
Thanks for stopping by!
Luv!

Freshly Made sketches

Fresh Flowers

Hi everybody, How is weekend treating you? We had a very busy Saturday and same with Sunday too. The town had Christmas Parade yesterday and my DD was in the parade and this morning, she is singing in the choir. Nice and festive in the town. But I have a card share for you I made for Freshly Made sketch #13. Here is the sketch for you

Now, what I did with the sketch was to turn it 180 degree and here is what it looks like

Sorry about the upside down words on the sketch. Here is how I interpreted the upside down sketch.

I used the two Wisteria flower and the bud stamp as the three shapes and added a embellished border and ribbon on the top.  I love the purple and kraft combination. The sentiment is lovely too. The stamp set is from Craft Meows called Celebrate You.

There is an urgent need for my laptop by my hubby. So got to go now. See you soon with more shares. If you want to play the challenge, the click here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Luv!
