The beautiful rainbow bold daisy is the highlight of the card. So my sentiment will be bold with high contrast and it will be my focal point. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Painted Birthday die. I die cut three out of black card stock and layered glued them for added dimension. I adhered the sentiment die cut on the top centre of the card front and embellished with rose gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

For my second card, I simply loved the colour combination of distress inks I sponged on the stencil. I have used Blueprint Sketch, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed distress inks.

The yellow ink at the centre of the panel gives a glow behind the bold contrasting sentiment die cut. Everything else is the same as the previous card except for the colour combination and the orientation of the card. Hope you like both my cards. I did not like the colour combination of the two other panels I sponged. I am not giving up on them but will try and reinvent them to make cards.

I started with die cutting some masking paper using the dog die from Cute Baby Animals Stamp and Cut from Hero Arts. I adhered these masking paper die cuts randomly on a white cardstock panel making sure I burnish and smoothen the edges. Then I sponged Tumbled Glass distress ink over the entire cardstock panel. Once the distress ink was dry, I removed all the masking paper die cuts. This left me with dog shaped spots on which I stamped the dog image also from the Cute Baby Animals stamp and cut from Hero Arts. I used versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp the dog images. Black ink gave me a nice contrast against the blue. I filled in the gaps by stamping the sentiment “you” and the heart shape also from the same stamp set. With the dog images, I was on the fence on whether to colour or nor to colour. I ended up colouring not the entire image but certain bits of it with neutral colours.//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js
For the focal point, I die cut three “Happy” from Happy stamp and cut from Hero Arts. I stacked and glued them. I stamped the smaller sentiment from the same stamp set on a strip of white cardstock, trimmed fish tail ends. I adhered the sentiments on a vellum circle which is framed with a black circular frame. Finally, embellishing with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh brought the card together.//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

Welcome to A Blog Named Hero first challenge of the month.
Here is my take on the challenge.

For my card, I have used Rain Dance stencil and sponged Gold Delicate pigment ink. While the ink was wet, I rubbed in some Perfect Pearls to add more iridescent metallic look. The picture does not justify how it looks in real. The metallic looks is just so beautiful on white background. I left the background to be the highlight by adding an elegant frame and a coloured sentiment from Hero Arts/Basic Grey Good Day stamp set. I added silver thread and silver metallic sequins to embellish.
Hope you can see the metallic look on the background on the closeup photo below.
