Beautiful Sunday morning! Cool with warm sun rays heating up the dining room:) Enjoying this weather because it is going to rain with a chance of thunderstorm late during the day. Cannot crib about it because after a long dry summer, any bit of rain is welcome.
I had some time on Friday and made a set of three gift tags for The Gift Tag Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
Here are the gift tags for you.
I have used Jane Doodles’s Doodle Flowers stamp set for making my tags. I have water coloured them using Studio Calico’s Neon Mr. Hueys. Then cut out the flowers alone and layered them. The tags were diecut using tag die from Papertrey Ink and Studio Calico’s Grid PL cards. The sentiment is stamped on the grid card as well, trimmed and layered on the tag using foam adhesives. The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink and the twine is from the Twinery.
I am in love with the water colour technique blending all the colours and learning some watercolour techniques along the way. So you will see more of this technique using on my projects.
Happy weekend! Will see you soon with The Craft’s Meow Day #3 preview of the May New Release:)
I totally missed all the challenges at Moxie Fab! How could that happen? Thank God I saw them this morning! So quickly sent children and hubby to school and work and playing along the Card Creations Week- Speech Bubble Challenge:)
Here is my card.
I have used masking technique with Grunge Me stamp set from Papertrey Ink with speech bubble from He Said She Said from Paper Smooches and sentiment from RAD stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps on my card. I masked and stamped the grunge images first. Then removed the mask and stamped the speech bubble outline. Finally the sentiment. It is a only layer card with a lot of negative space. I love how my card turned out although I had something totally different in my mind when I started out to make this card. Lol!
Thanks for stopping by! I need to do some research about my area politicians because I have to vote tomorrow for our state election. As much I dislike politics, voting is compulsory. So I better know what I am doing at least:)
It is a gorgeous Sunday morning for me in Australia.
I am hoping to get out and enjoy the sushine today. But before that I have card to share.
I was experimenting with the new Designer Flowers stamp set from AnnaBelle Stamps to create a background paper. It turned out well that I made a card. Here it is for you.
What I have done is I went through Nichole Heady’s Tie’n Dye video. Wanted to do that technique for a long time. So I went ahead and created the background with orange and pink inks. Then I stamped the flower outline images in pink ink with the flower center using black ink. I really love how the tie-dye technique on the background highlights the flowers. A big bold senitment embossed using pink embossing powder on a banner, finishes the card. I let the background take the spotlight:)
Hope you like it. I am entering this card for Moxie Fab World’s 75 Creative Card Challenge- Make your own background paper.
Thanks for visiting me today.
See you soon!
I did some fuzzy cutting of the stamped hexagons and made a pattern. Don’t they look amazing? I loved it. I knew I had the right sentiment from MFT stamp set.
I am submitting this card for Moxie Fab World’s The Hooked on Hexagon Challenge.
Morning everybody 🙂
I have tags today to share made using this week’s Tuesday Trigger Rainbow Bright challenge.
I love the rainbow colors and the shine on them. Looks yum! So here is a tag set I made using the yummy colors and the shine on the picture as inspiration.
As you know I love bicycles, I used the Bicycle stamp and sentiments from Papertrey Ink’s Everyday Button Bits Stamp set and made a set of tags. The yummy colors and the shine comes from the glossy buttons also from Papertrey Ink. Here are a couple of close ups of the tags.
I have also added matching twine on the tags wherever possible. Hope you like it. I love the gorgeous glossy buttons on them. Another beautiful challenge from Moxie Fab World blog. If you like to play Tuesday Trigger challenge, here is the link to the blog.
I am enjoying a relaxed sunny Sunday and hope you enjoy your weekend too 🙂
