Inspired by Pinterest

I have a board on Pinterest called Inspirational Patterns. When I look at a picture and I think, this will work on a card, I pin it to this board. I saw this yesterday and I pinned it.
I liked this layout especially the masking part of it. I was inspired by it and wanted to make a card immediately. So this is what I came up with.

Perfect spring card right? You could use leaves like in the inspirational picture and make a card for Autumn. Use snowflakes and make a card for winter and for summer, use ball, flip flops, bucket, star fish, umbrella, cocktail glass. So versatile. I love finding such inspirations.
Cardstock: Stamper’s Select White from PTI
Stamp Sets: Day Dreamer and Think Big Favourites # 10 from PTI
Inks: SU’s Pink Passion, Tempting Turquoise, Plum Pudding, Summer Sun, Tangerine Tango.Kiwi Kiss and Poppy Parade. Stazon Black Ink
Accessories: SU markers

Second post for today!!!!

Afternoon everybody,
Gosh! its a furnace today! 45 degree celcius and humid as well. I am melting and sticky and yucky!!!! I feel like sitting in the tub filled with cold water throughout the day! Sorry about that but weather is horrible today. Its going to stay this way for the next two days. Hate it especially during the weekends 😦 But that did not deter me from making this card using Card pattern #99 and Do More With Less.
Check out Card pattern blog for the sketch. Its such a beautiful sketch. And Do More With Less has Dana W Seymour challenging us to do more with pattern paper. I have stamped valentine definition from Su’s Love Defined stamp set on the blue panel and hearts tree on the green panel. Here is closeup of the blue panel incase you don’t see it.
I have used Prima Analee papers sent by Kris from PTI forum for the holiday swap. Thank you Analee your goodies are beautiful. I have used SU’s Love Defined and PTI’s Signature Greetings stamp set on the card. Die cuts using PTI Limitless layers dies. Rhine stones and Pearls from kaisercraft and Twine from stash.I enjoyed making this card and is one of my favourite card too 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
You have a lovely day!

Waltizingmouse challenge #17

Morning everybody,
Its Monday here for me and the day is hot, windy and sunny. The time is 9.45 AM now and the temperature is already 35 degree celscius! Tops redicted today to be 42 degree celscius!!!! I went out to take some photos of my card and gosh!!! it so bright that I could not open my eyes. I had to wear my sunglasses to take the photos. So the photo are not as good as it should be!
Anyway, here is the link to Waltzingmouse sketch challenge blog to see this week’s sketch and if you want to play the challenge too 🙂
Here is my take on the sketch.
The bell is an image printed from the computer and die cut using Spellbinder label die and stamped with its compatible WMS stamp using SU’s Elegant eggplant ink. The sentiment  and DSP are from PTI. Cardstock, brad and lace ribbon from SU. This card came together in 10 minutes last night. What a surprise!!!
Thanks for the lovely sketch. And have a lovely day. I am turning the A/C on now as my eyes are burning. I wish it rains and bring the temperature down but its not predicted on the weather forecast 😦  I somehow have to get through this day well hydrated and in the evening there is a carol singing and awards nights at school on the school ground 😦 Hoping the temperature cools down by then!!!!

A productive afternoon….

Today is such a fantastic day for me! I had the entire afternoon to craft. I seriously made use of it. I made some 3 sets of Christmas and holiday tags, a few DT projects and a thank you card. Well, I cannot share the tags and DT projects yet. So that leaves me with the Thank you card to share.
I love the idea of plethora coffee mugs as background. I saw it on Nicole Heady’s blog and also on Moxie Fab World Alert. So here is my version of it. The coffee stamps are from Stampin’ Up! I think its retired! I love the sentiment image a lot. There is one more senitment in the set which is cool. So I kept the set.
Among the Moxie fab Alert, there is Moroccon Tea Glass candles which is so beautiful. Love the bright colors and the golden flourish design. If you want some inspiration, check out Moxie Fab World blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend 🙂

A set!

Wow! I am  posting one to two post each day since a week. I cannot believe my self!
Today I have a card and a bag set I made for  Tuesday Trigger Fall Festival Challenge. Here is the  inspiration picture of  Fall Festival.
How cute is that pumpkin holding those roses? I love roses. At the moment, my town is filled with lots and lots of roses in everybody’s garden. I drive around the town and watching rose shrubs full of roses and different colors. I have just one rose shrub in a pot and its blood red color. So I have focused on roses and the colors of these roses on my project.
Here is my project. Its a set of congratulations card and a matching favour bag to give a special couple on their special day.

I have used SU’s retired A Rose is a Rose set. I love this set because I can create roses in two layers and looks real. I love to use different hues on the same rose and still look beautiful. Here I have used SU’s Summer Sun and Tangerine Tango for the roses and Old Olive for leaves.
Here is the matching Favour bag.
Aren’t the colors gorgeous against white? I love it especially with the gorgeous lime green organza ribbon.
This is the other side of the favour bag.

Here is the card and bag together. The bag is made using PTI’s favour bag #2. The sentiment from SU.
Thanks for the inspirational photo and challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
Have a lovely day!
