Happy Valentine’ day everyone! Sharing a valentine’s day card using Simon Says Stamp watercolour panel from Suzy’s Take My Heart from Hey Love collections.

Instructions:

1. Card Base is Kraft cardstock.

2. I coloured the printed watercolour panel from Suzy’s Take My Heart from Hey Love collection using Zig Clean Colour Brush Pens and water brush.

3. I die cut the panel using the largest of the postage stamp die from Postage Stamp Edge die set by Simon Says Stamp.

4. I adhered this panel on the card front using foam adhesives.

5. Finally used white gel pen to add highlights.

Simple and quick to create. Couple of closeups of the card.

Hello everyone,

I am back sharing a card I made using Taylored Expressions stamp sets and dies. These products were released in December 2016 and are valentine themed.

Instructions:

1. Blend Candied Apple and Dried Marigold distress inks on Sugar Cube cardstock panel.

2. Spatter clean water to add texture to the panel.

3. Die cut this panel using Falling Heart cutting plate from Taylored Expressions and adhere on Sugar Cube card base.

4. Stamp the bird images from The Birds and the Bees stamp set from Taylored Expressions using Oreo hybrid ink.

5. Coloured them using copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

6. Sponge Gathered Twigs and Mowed Lawn distress inks on a scrap piece of white cardstock and spatter with clean water.

7. Die cut the branch and leaves using On the Limb – Branches and On the Limb – Leaves dies also from Taylored Expressions.

8. I adhered the leaves on the branches and adhered on the bottom of the panel.

9. I adhered the birds on the branches using foam adhesives for added dimension.

10. I white heat embossed the sentiment from The Birds and the Bees on Oreo cardstock and die cut using the second smallest die from Banner Stacklets 4.

11. I adhered this on the top middle of the card front using foam adhesives.

12. I used the tiny hearts left over from die cutting the sponged panel to embellished the card. I brushed the heart with Wink of Stella clear shimmer and added glossy accent on the heart above the birds only.

Simon Says Stamp – You have my Heart card!

Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I am excited because tomorrow school starts for the brand new year. I have my son in grade 11 and daughter in grade 9. Everything is organised – books, folders, pencils, pen, uniforms and shoes. So from tomorrow onwards, there will be a routine. Yay! It is going to be busy but organised busy. I love that.

I have a valentine’s day card to share today using Simon Says Stamp You have my Heart collection goodies.

Love the Heart Vent Wafer die from You Have My Heart Collection by Simon Says Stamp. I wanted to get some beautiful pink to red ombre colours behind the stripes on the card. So I sponged Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries distress ink on the white card panel.. Then spattered gold Colourshine from Heidi Swapp. While this was drying, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die set and die cut the Heart Vent die on the top centre of the panel. I layered this panel on top of the sponged panel. And you can see the beautiful colours with gold spatter through the vents 🙂 I adhered this layered panel on Fog card base.

The sentiment is from Roses for You stamp set which I stamped on a strip of white cardstock. Trimmed fishtail ends and adhered belween the Heart Vent using foam adhesives. It needed some more embellishments. So I inked some scrap white cardstock with Spun Sugar and Abandoned Coral distress inks, die cut the paper using Stitched Heart Collage die. I used the smaller dies on the card in set of three. I added some glossy accents on them. Simple, easy and pack some pretty colours. Hope you like it.

A Penny Black card – LOVE!

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. With Valentine’s day in the vicinity, I have a pretty Valentine’s day card to share today. I have used Penny Black’s Valentine’s Day New Release stamp set and die to make this card.

All Abloom stamp set from Penny Black is a pretty stamp set. LOVE the detailed pretty images in the stamp set. This beautiful heart image is my favourite of all in the set. So I decided to black heat emboss the image on watecolour card panel.Then used Zig Clean Brush watercolour pens to colour the image. Similarly used the grey watercolour pen to shade the outside of the image. Once dry, I used Wink of Stella shimmer pen to add shimmer to the flowers.

I adhered the panel on a pink card base to coordinate with the big flowers on the image. For the sentiment I die cut True Love die using gold foiled cardstock and adhered on the card front. Finally embellished with gold 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I let the watercolour highlight the image with a touch of gold on the sentiment and sequins. Here are the Penny Black stamp set called All Abloom and True Love die I have used on this card.

Love you more!

I’m back! Yes! so thrilled to be back after two weeks of holiday in New Zealand. It is one of the beautiful country I have seen. I travel a lot. The landscapes are amazing and people are so warm and welcoming. We flew, drove, took the train, the coach, rode bicycles, segway, cruised, walked admiring and enjoying the beauty of the country. I will post some photos from the trip soon here.

I got back into the routine of making cards after two weeks. It was hard to get back into crafting after such a long break. The drive is there but creativity does not flow as it normally would. But nothing like getting some new goodies in the mail. They always bring back the creativity. I received some new release Valentine Stamps and dies from Penny Black. The stamp sets are so cute especially the Mimi’s  collection. The dies are super adorable. I have a card today using Mimi’s Love and So Very Much stamp sets from Penny Black.

 

Here is my card.

I wanted to colour the Mimi images as soon as I saw them. So on my card here, I stamped and coloured one of the image from the stamp set using copic markers. Then stamped the sentiment. I let the colour image be the star of the show.

After colouring, I added  glossy accents on those tiny red hearts to give them some dimension. How you can see it on the picture below.

Happy I Love You Day!

Good Morning!

I am part of a great design team at Curtain Call Inspirational Challenge. We not only design our projects for the challenge, comment and vote, we also have fun. We did secret Santa during Christmas. sent out to a randomly selected DT a Christmas craft package. And when we received it, we made a project using the goodies and shared it on out blog. It was so much fun that we did secret valentine as well. My secret admirer is Tracey McNeely. She sent me some really beautiful pattern papers, dies from Lil’ Inkers Design, die cut, glitter paper…. and so many embellishments. Lots of goodies. Thank you so much Tracey 🙂

I had so many ideas using the goodies that I had difficulty putting them all on one card. So here is my first card using the secret valentine goodies from Tracey.

I love all the teeny tiny hearts from the heart border die cuts. I wanted to use them. So I glued them on my card front giving the embossing paste on stencil look. I then sponged some beautiful pink ink around it.  Then layered the gorgeous vellum tag upon which I layered LOVE cut out of Framed Love die cut. Added a red heart shape on “O” of LOVE die cut.  Tracey sent me a few stamped sentiment which I fuzzy cut out and layered. Who does not love the red heart sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, right? I have added a few of them to give the glamour to my card. Applied diamond stickles on the heart shape. I did a bow using the gorgeous double colour twine on the vellum tag and added a blue enamel dot. Here is a closeup!

I will certainly have one more card coming soon 🙂

I was digging and

I found an old stamp set from Clean and Simple Stamps. This set is called Game On and a very cute Wii set. I loved it as my son had Wii then. But then the set got burried under other stamps and forgotton. But today I found it Yay! Love the girl and boy Wii images that I wanted to ink them and make a card.

Cardstock: White cardstock from Wplus9.

Pattern Paper: Basic Grey White essential 6 x 6 paper pad.

Stamp Set: Game On retired stamp set from Clean and Simple Stamps. Love Birds from Wplus9

Accessories: Copic Markers.

How cute are those images? I love them and they beautifully coordinated with the love heart trio image and sentiment stamp from Wplus9. I love this card. Hope you do too:)

Hello everybody,

How is the New Year treating you? It has been good so far except I am bored doing the same things over and over again everyday. I would love a break. But cannot see any coming though! 

One thing I don’t get bored doing is craft. So I browsed through my Pinterest board and found an inspirational picture and made cards using it. Here is inspirational picture.

Looks so modern and pretty. I love cloud like effect on it, the Eiffel tower and the stamps too. Love the plane but I don’t have a small plane stamp on me.
I tried distress ink and mini mister technique on my panel. Then stamped a few stamps on it and here is how my panel looked like

I did a horizontal panel as well.

Now using these panels I made my cards. This the vertical card.

I love how they turned out. Many layers of stamps give depth to panel. I used about 4 different set of stamps from four different companies.Here are the list of supplies.
