Get Inspired – In the Kitchen Challenge

This is the next challenge in the Get Inspired series at Moxie Fab World Blog.
It is a Kitchen challenge. Here is the inspirational photo.

Although I like the pattern on the plate, I love the pattern on the glass! So I went for that pattern for inspiration and here is my card.

The flower stamp set is from Waltzingmouse, cardstocks from Gina K and Bazzil, sentiment stamp from papertrey Ink and rhinestones from Kaisercraft.

Happily ever after…..

This is a seond post for today. I have a share I made for two challenges. 

They are CR84FN23 and Waltzingmouse sketch challenge # 42

Here is my take on both the challenges

After doing a lot of layering on my cards, I decided I want to do a simple and clean card. So this is a CAS card for me. I used Kaisercraft’s pattern paper from Chanteuse collection, Music and flower stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps, Sentiment stamps,satin  ribbon and cardstocks from Papertrey Ink.

Loved the sketch and the gorgeous colors from the CR84FN challenge. Thanks for the same 🙂

Waltzingmouse Sketch #39

Ever since I bought the PTI’s Banner stamp set and dies, I made just one card for last month’s PTI blog hop using them. So when I saw this week’s Waltzingmouse sketch, I made sure I want to make a card using the banner set and die. here is what I came up with:

I used Kaisercraft Bubblegum Hills 6 x 6 paper pad pattern papers, PTI’s cardstocks, stamps and banner dies. Edges are inked with Tim Holtz’s Frayed Burlap distress ink. The Wish Big sentiment is embossed with black embossing powder. I love the scallop pattern paper from Kaisercraft’s Bubblegum Hills collection.Actually all the papers are beautiful. Beautiful colors and textures.

Thanks for the awesome sketch. Love sketches. I wish I had longer hours during the day for me to find the time to craft! For those of you who don’t know, I currently have my parents staying with me for two months. So life is busy and exhausting. My DH has taken my parents and kids out today. So I have atleast 4 hours to quickly make lunch, clean and then its craft time 🙂  Have a great weekend!

WMSC #31

Today I have a card I made for Waltzingmouse Sketch #31.

Told you mojo has left me. Not very happy with how it turned out. I have tried a shabby style card using Prima papers and wrinkled ribbon. Love the new spellbinder die I broke opened which coordinated with Waltzingmouse Stamp set. Senitment from PTI.

Waltizingmouse challenge #17

Morning everybody,

Its Monday here for me and the day is hot, windy and sunny. The time is 9.45 AM now and the temperature is already 35 degree celscius! Tops redicted today to be 42 degree celscius!!!! I went out to take some photos of my card and gosh!!! it so bright that I could not open my eyes. I had to wear my sunglasses to take the photos. So the photo are not as good as it should be!

Here is my take on the sketch.

The bell is an image printed from the computer and die cut using Spellbinder label die and stamped with its compatible WMS stamp using SU’s Elegant eggplant ink. The sentiment  and DSP are from PTI. Cardstock, brad and lace ribbon from SU. This card came together in 10 minutes last night. What a surprise!!!

Thanks for the lovely sketch. And have a lovely day. I am turning the A/C on now as my eyes are burning. I wish it rains and bring the temperature down but its not predicted on the weather forecast 😦  I somehow have to get through this day well hydrated and in the evening there is a carol singing and awards nights at school on the school ground 😦 Hoping the temperature cools down by then!!!!

Circular Christmas card!

Morning everybody,

I have a christmas card to share but its not the regular rectangular card. 

I had a go at Waltzingmouse sketch for the first time to make this card.

I wanted to use soft colors. Not my kind of color combo but I love it. Maybe I should use more of these colors. Here is the link to WMS sketch challenge blog, if you like to participate in their sketch challenge 🙂
