Winnie & Walter’s 3rd Birthday Bash Challenge.

It’s release day at Winnie & Walter. Yes! All the new products that was premiered for past four days are now available for purchase. Check out Winnie & Walter store.

As a bonus for the release, I have a card using Big Hugs with Evelin T Designs stamp set from the new release.

Instructions:

1. Card base is made using white cardstock.

2. Die cut a scallop rectangle panel using white cardstock and largest of the scallop rectangle die from Essentials: Audrey Cutaway.

3. I sponged the Dried Marigold and Peacock Feather distress inks on the panel and spattered some clean water for added texture.

4. I then black heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set on the bottom centre of the panel.

5. I stamped the bear image from the stamp set on white cardstock, copic coloured and fuzzy cut the image out.

6. I adhered this stamped image on top of the image using foam adhesive.

7. I also black heat embossed the heart shapes from the stamp set on top of the bear image.

8. This panel is adhered on the card front and embellished with sequins.

Winnie & Walter Release Premiere Day #4

Oh hi everyone! Hope you have been enjoying all the projects from Winnie & Walter new release. Today is the last day of premiering the new products.
I am showcasing new stamp set called Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs.

This stamp set also has coordinating cutaways. I did not have the cutaways in time to make my card. So my card does not feature the coordinating dies. Anyway here is my card.

Instructions:

1. My card base is a light grey cardstock.

2. I die cut a panel using the largest rectangle die from Essentials: Katharine Cutaway and Bristol paper.

3. I stamped the cute images from Welcome to the Family stamp set using black ink and filled in with some hearts images. I used Versafine onyx back ink and heat set it.

4. The images are coloured the images and background using Zig Clean Brush Pens.

5. I adhered this panel on the card front using foam adhesives.

6. The sentiment is white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock and adhered again using foam adhesives.

7. I embellished the card with sequins.

Welcome to the Family and The Big, the Bold and Baby stamp sets are an absolute must have in your collection. This set has so many cute images of animals and the elephant has mirror image as well. Perfect to make spinner card and cards for twins. I am looking forward to using the coordinating cutaways and creating more with this stamp set.

Winnie & Walter Release Premiere Day #3

Thanks for visiting my blog. Today is day #3 of Winnie & Walter’s New Release. Here are my Day #1 and Day #2 projects.

I am showcasing Sketchy Thoughts stamp set  today.

Instructions:

1. I stamped the bunny image from another newStamp set and copic coloured the image.

2. I die cut the image out with scissors as I am yet to receive the dies for the set. There are coordinating dies available.

3. On the bottom of the white card base, I stamped the inverted triangle border stamp from the new Scenery: Stripes 2 stamp set in black.

4. I trimmed a white cardstock to 4.25″ x5.25″. I sponged Squeezed Lemonade distress ink on the bottom centre of the panel.

5. I placed the bunny image on the sponged area to get an idea to stamped the speech bubble from Sketchy Thoughts stamp set.

6. I stamped the speech bubble using Mint Julep ink, the sentiment in black and Versamark on top of the dye ink so that I could clear heat embossed the image.

7. The bunny image is adhered in place using foam adhesive.

8. I added a strip of mint cardstock at the bottom of the panel before I adhered the panel to the card front.

9. I embellished with sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Winnie & Walter Release Premiere Day #2

Hello and welcome back! This is the first of the two post for today.

It is day #2 of Winnie & Walter’s February new release. Yesterday was day #1 and if you have not seen my day #1 post, HERE it is for you.

Today I am showcasing mini stamp sets – Mini Scenery: Bed of Roses and From the Bottom of my Heart stamp set which is free with $25 purchase.

Instructions:

1. My card base is made of light pink cardstock from my stash.

2. The front panel is Tim Holtz distress watercolour paper on which I black heat embossed the Mini Scenery: Bed of Roses stamp image.

3. I coloured the image with Zig clean colour brush pens.

4. Then I stamped the heart image from Bottom of My Heart stamp set using Red dye ink and then with versamark and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. The process of stamping with versamark on a stamp image is easy using MISTI.

5. I wanted a good dimension on the heart shape. When the embossing powder was hot, I added more embossing powder and heat set. I repeated the process thrice. I left the heart shape to dry as it is quite thick.

6. When dry, I used scissors to cut the image out and adhered on top of the watercoloured image using foam adhesives.

7. The panel is glued down to the pink card base and embellished with sequins.

Winnie & Walter Release Premiere Day #1

Hello and welcome to Day #1 of Winnie & Walter New Release.

There are nine stamp sets, quite a few cutaways released on February 3rd including a free stamp set.

Today I am showcasing a stamp set from Winnie & Walter’s trademark The Big and Bold series called The Big, the Bold and Baby! 

This stamp set is a big 6×8 inch stamp set and there are dies available for this set separately. I don’t have the dies with me so I have used only the stamp set to make my card.  There is a sneak peek of another new stamp set on my card.

Instructions:

1. Fog cardstock is my card base.

2. I die cut a white cardstock using the largest rectangle die from Essentials: Katharine Cutaway.

3. Sponged distress inks Twisted Citron, Spun Sugar, Squeezed Marmalade and Tumbled Glass.

4. Once dry, I used Picket Fence distress paint to make some rays starting  from centre of the panel to the edges and let it dry.

5. I stamped the cute elephant images from another new stamp set to be previewed later during the week and copic coloured both the images. I then hand cut them out. There are coordinating dies available for it. I just don’t have them with me yet.

6. The sentiments from The Big, the Bold and Baby stamp set are white heat embossed on the top and bottom of the panel.

7. I adhered the elephants using foam adhesives on the middle of the panel.

8. This panel is adhered on the card base using foam adhesives and embellished using Sparkling Clear sequins.

Love the sentiments on the The Big, the Bold and Baby. There are so many sentiment to make baby cards for baby boy, baby girl and twins. And there are images from other new stamp sets which will go well with the stamp set.

Winnie & Walter – A Set of Noel Cards!

Hello everyone,

 I have a set two Christmas cards to share with your using Winnie & Walter’s new release stamp set and cutaways. I am also at Winnie & Walter Blog today. I have used Framed with Evelin T Designs stamp set, Typecast: Cary stamp set, Framed with Evelin T Design Cutaway and In a Word: Noel Cutaway.

Both of my cards are similar yet different. They are similar in layout, the elements used but different in colours and the placement of the elements. Here is my first card.

I used the alphabets and numbers from Typecast: Cary stamp set and stamped the sentiment saying 25th Merry Christmas using light grey ink on the card front at an angle. I did draw lines to keep the spacing even. I erased the pencil lines after stamping the images. Since the background is neutral, I wanted my focal elements to pop out of the neutral background.

For the focal point I gold heat embossed the frame from Framed with Evelin T Design stamp set and die cut the frame out using the coordinating cutaway. I also stamped the leaves and berries from the stamp set, copic coloured and die cut using the coordinating cutaway. Then I also die cut In a Word: Noel cutaway using white cardstock, sponged Candied Apple distress ink in ombre and added details using white gelly roll pen. I adhered the frame offset on the lower right of the card front using foam adhesives, the NOEL flush on the frame and foam on the edges to the cardstock. Then adhered the leaves and berries to frame the sentiment. Finally embellished with rose gold sequins.

Now for the second card, I did the background similar to the first one using Typecast: Cary stamp set. But I used red ink and a variety of christmas sentiment to create the background.

I again drew pencil lines diagonally to get the spacing right and once stamped the background, I erased the pencil lines.  For the focal point, I used another frame from the Framed Evelin T Design which I gold heat embossed. Similar to the first card, I also stamped, copic coloured and die cut the leaves and berries from the stamp set using coordinating cutaway. The sentiment Noel is die cut using white cardstock, sponged Mowed Lawn distress inks in ombre and added details using white gelly roll pen.

On this card, I clustered the elements on the top centre of the card front. The frame using the foam adhesives, the sentiment NOEL flush glued on the frame and foam on the hanging edges and the leaves falling from the frame with the berries in the centre. I used sparkly clear and gold sequins to embellished the card.

You can change colours while the alphabets are arranged on MISTI to stamp a few card fronts. And also emboss a few more frames and elements to mass produce the design. Just vary the placement of the focal cluster and you get a variety of Christmas card.

I absolutely love the Typecast: Cary stamp set. Bold alphabets and numbers. It is a must have stamp set in my collection. The Framed stamp set is gorgeous to add layers and love the hand drawn images. Of course, the In a Word cutaways are fabulous. Big, bold and great focal point word dies. This release by Winnie & Walter is fabulous.

My third project using Winnie & Walter’s November new release. Today I am showcasing Happy Owlidays with Evelin T Designs and coordinating cutaways.

Another adorable stamp set. I love the little elements in the stamp set like the ornaments that add more details to the card.

I stamped and coloured the images from the stamp set. Then die cut using coordinating cutaway. I die cut two panels. One smaller panel using the smaller rectangle cutaway from Essentials: Katherine Cutaway and white card stock. The larger panel using the largest scalloped cutaway using Essentials: Audrey Cutaway. I stamped the branch image on the white panel and coloured with copic markers. Then mounted the owls on the branch using foam adhesives, the banner and ornaments on top of the panel. I stamped the sentiment from Sentimental: Winter stamp set on the panel and the smaller sentiment on a strip of white cardstock.

I added details to the owls and banner using white gel pen. Then adhered the white panel on the red scalloped panel using foam adhesive and then flush glued on the white card base. Absolutely love the cuteness overload of the owls and ornament details.

Winnie & Walter Rerun Feature

Hello and welcome.

This is my first post for today. I am sharing a card for Winnie & Walter’s Rerun Feature.

Winnie & Walter celebrates rerun every month! Each month a product is featured with plenty of inspirations from designers using that product, a month long sale of that product and a challenge. There is also a new giveaway. You will not want to miss it. 

This month’s featured stamp set is called In Bloom: Hollie’s Festive Florals stamp set.

I love the pretty tiny layering images in this stamp set. They can make such pretty background on the card. That is what I did to make this card.

I chose a few images from the stamp set and used Altenew inks to stamp an entire white cardstock panel. LOVE how pretty it turned out. I then trimmed the panel, added a thin strip of gold mirror cardstock and adhered to the card front. I had trimmed off a quarter of an inch of cardstock from the bottom of the card front. I added a matching green cardstock strip to the inside of the card but will be visible from the outside as well.

I also die cut  In a Word: Wishes cutaway three times. Stacked and glued them down. Then sponged Peeled Paint distress ink on the top of the Wishes die cut in ombre fashion. This is adhered in the middle of the card front. The smaller sentiment is stamped on a strip of white cardstock and adhered using foam adhesives. Finally embellished with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Simple but pretty fall birthday card. By just changing the colours of the flowers, you can personalised the design. There are also different flowers in the stamp set.

Season’s Greetings!

 Sharing my second project using the November new release. Today I am showcasing Season’s Tweeting with Evelin T Designs and coordinating Cutaway.

Absolutely adorable images on this set and I love the handwritten sentiments. Great to create scenes. That is what I did with on my card.

I started with stamping the images and colouring them with copic markers. Then I die cut the images using the coordinating cutaways.  For the background, I die cut two white rectangle panels using the largest of the rectangle die from Essentials: Katherine Cutaway. On one panel I sponged Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers distress inks leaving the top of the panel white. I die cut the other panel to an inch. I stamped the green from Sentimental: Winter stamp set. Adhered this panel on top of the sponged side of the other panel using foam adhesives for dimension.

I adhered the image die cuts as shown on the picture. I flush glued the tree and foam mounted the rest of the images grounding them to the sentiment panel. One of the penguin image is adhered on the front of the igloo using foam adhesives. I stamped the stars from the stamp set on sky and added White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal Drops to its centre. Then I used white gel pen to add details on the images.

Cute huh! I love this set. Probably my favourite in the release. Both the stamp set and coordinating cutaway and the Sentimental: Winter stamp set are available for purchase from Winnie & Walter store.
